Do you want amazing fast result! NO REALLY! http://www.mylondonpersonaltrainer.com/

I am so happy today to step on the scale and see a loss. How many times have I dreaded to step on the scale? Countless. On DAX's program, I actually look forward to getting on the scale in the morning to monitor my results AND what results! Not only do I see them in myself but others too. Check out their blogs for some truly inspirational stories. WE are all different but we all have the same weight loss goal and with the help of DAX we will achieve our desired weight.

The first couple of days were tough . . . I was tired, sore and overwhelmed. The first thing I did was clean out my fridge and establish a workout space. Then I cleaned up the entire house. Clutter tends to cover my tables, desk and other areas of the house, so I de-cluttered, so I would have a nice stress free space to relax in. Once I got started I found my groove and got into a routine. I am hardly hungry, but my face broke out a bit and was quite red. I guess that is from detoxing during the first few days. It is fine now. I am in bed by 10:30 and sleep very well. Now that the first week is over there is no stopping me now. DAX introduced new exercises that I am eager to try out and a new diet formula. I'll spend tomorrow buying food for the week and acquaint my self with the new exercises. I have not weighed under 180 for a very long time! It's hard work but it is working!! I am very grateful to be DAX's guinea pig! Trainhard everyone!

I have to go out in the field this morning. So will post more later!

I just got back from the field. I got up this morning did my 6am-7am boot camp which is pretty hard core. Lots of squats, walking lunges, pushups, jumping jacks, burpees etc. I got home and had my breakfast and then I got a call and had to be in the field immediately. I had to find the boundaries of a previously recorded site that was recently zoned for a subdivision which is about 1.5 hours away from where I live. I brought for Lunch celery sticks, a cumber, an apple and a grapefruit. Plus a thermos full of mint tea. All this to say I didn't do workouts 1 and 2. I did however, shovel test all day which is very physical. Not to mention all the walking I did carrying my gear that weighs about 25 lbs. I just got home. 7:48 pm and my husband is trying to get some dinner together. Organic ground buffalo pattie with peas and potato. Then I will do Workout 3 then to bed. Maybe a movie if I can stay up! I am as you say in London knackered! Below is a picture of me doing a shovel test today, I did about 10 of them! Train hard everyone! I promise to make up the missed workouts tomorrow.

THIS IS MY FRIDGE AFTER IT WAS CLEANED OUT ON DAY ONE! DON'T WORRY NOT EATING THE STUFF ON
BANNED LIST!
http://www.mylondonpersonaltrainer.com tired and sore, but that's the price you have to pay to lose 30 lbs in 30 days. I have worked out more in 3 days then I normally do in two weeks! The workouts are hard, but short. You sure do work up a sweat. The hard work is paying off and I think the key is consistency. I have already seen unbelievable results in myself and others:

Weight 178.6 down from 179
Chest 40.5 down 1/2 inch
Waist 35 down 1 inch
Hips 43.5 down .5 inch
Thigh 26 same
Calf 15 same
Arm 11.5 down .5 inch

Results are only after 3 days! Other participants have also seen dramatic results in only in three days. This real! Check out their blogs too.

I was really tired and sore this morning so I skipped boot camp. I finished workout one and two and tonight before bed will complete workout three. I have added ten reps to each exercise so far.

Morning
Mint tea
Juiced some celery before workout
1/4 watermelon
8 celery stalks

Afternoon
Mint tea
Awesome salad with lettuce, apple, celery, red onion, a boiled egg crumbled on top, tomato with a dribble of olive oil and lemon for flavour.

June 20 and 21 2009 Happy Solstice Everyone

Well went for a 5km run this morning, when I say run it is more like a light jog. Then came home and got ready for the Antique show here in town. We had two booths and had to get them set up. It was a crazy weekend. Saturday was spent all day at the Antique show then Sat night it was a friend's birthday party, but had to duck out early. I had to leave for a special site visit at 11:30 pm . There is a line of cairns or rock piles on this hill near the Sundial Butte Medicine Wheel that my boss believes is a solstice line of some sort. So got my gear together to go camp out at the site and watch the sun rise. I brought some people I work with from the TLU office on the Blood Reserve. So we drove out (about 1 hour drive) and tried to located the site. It was pitch black and there was cloud cover so my GPS wasn't working too great. Anyways we located the site around 2:30 am and set up camp. We were exhausted so went to sleep. I got up to flag the cairns and make tea for everyone one. We all gathered at 5:20 am to witness the sun rising over our line, but it was rainy and cloudy so we couldn't see it! UGH! Anyways we thought we would go visit the Medicine Wheel, which is about 3 km away (you have to picture this is in the middle of nowhere in a sea of prairie, so not many people around). We arrived and there was a group from Red Crow College doing a ceremony at the MW. They had tea and coffe and we knew alot of the people so it turned out to be an awesome experience. I was really tired though. Got home at 8 am (June 21) then crashed for 3 hours, then went to the antique show and then was in bed by 8 pm. The picture is of my coworkers walking around the Wheel. You can see the central cairn.

June 19, 2009 I'm Picked!!

WOW Dax picked me to be a part of his program 30lbs in 30 days. I am so excited! I am soo excited. Actually ever since he mentioned this "contest" I have been eating super clean. NO sugar, alcohol, wheat, and caffeine. I started out at 184 and stepped on the scale this morning and weighed in at 178.6. WOW. I haven't been under 180 for the longest time. Now I am so pumped to get started on DAX's program.

I started this morning off with a 5-6km run follow by a 2km hike up a mountain which was work related. That's one of the reasons why I have to stay in shape. My work demands a lot of physical exercise from shoveling testing to hiking up very steep terrain. We checked out a vision quest site that might be distrubed due to the logging activity in the area.

Basically I have been eating a protein shake in the morning followed by fruit. Lunch is a big salad with some sort of protein. A snack is usually almonds and an apple. Dinner stir fry with rice or buffalo with salad. I am not sure what the next step is of DAX's program, but I am sure my entries will be more detailed. WE START MONDAY!!!!!!!! Thanks DAX Tainhard!

June 18, 2009

Just came back from a 2 hour rehearsal for a belly dance gig we are doing for Canada Day. Feeling pretty good about it. I weighed in this morning 181. So I actually lost 3 pounds this week. I plan to weigh myself every Thursday morning. Tomorrow I will take official measurements and before photos. The garden is looking good. It is so exciting to see something grow from a tiny tiny tiny seed. This weekend is going to be busy-- starting tomorrow morning. I am meeting "H" for a run. She is also training for the same half marathon that I am. She is an awesome lady and is very motivating. Plan to hit the hay pretty early tonight and gear up for the weekend. We have two tables at the antique show and it starts tomorrow night. It will be a long day. Just planning to run this weekend as we start boot camp on Monday early. Well goodnight.

June 17, 2009

Just came back from yoga. Love it! Next session starts on July 15, so will be practicing on my own for awhile. That's okay . . . translates into great "me time" where I can mentally reaffirm my goals and reflect on myself. Boot camp starts again on the 22nd so gearing up for that. Yesterday went well, I had a protein shake for breakfast, small stir fry for lunch (no rice), salad and fish with a bit a buffalo for dinner and wine of course, but no more wine. I won't be drinking for the next 30 days. Also removing from my diet, starting tomorrow, because I already ate a peanut butter and banana sandwich for breakfast, coffee, wheat, sugar and cheese. I like yogurt and cottage cheese and I hoping that is allowed on Dax's diet, but I am thinking probably not, so that is also going to have to go :) I have also started a garden, which I am really excited about. I recently bought a small house in which I intend to resell. I am currently living in a loft and have no real yard. I have never really had my own garden and I have planted everything under the sun. Not much of a green thumb, but we'll see. I will post some pictures tomorrow. 30- pounds in 30 days. Whether I get picked or not for this experiment I am going to be committed to losing a significant amount of weight in the next 3o days. Yay me! The picture above is me when I was in really good shape. I was running and riding almost everyday. This was taken in Turkey where I was teaching English. I am using this picture of me as my inspiration to get back to my old self.

June 16 Tuesday 2009

Just finished 4 weeks of boot camp and start the next session on June 22. It tough especially since it starts at 6 am. Not a big fan of early morning workouts, but after I dragged my butt out on to the field and start feeling the blood pumping I am happy that I came. During this short break I plan to get stretching in, such as doing some more yoga. I am also a belly dancer and we have a couple of big gigs coming up so planning to watch what I eat more closely. Since it is summer there is a lot of fresh produce to choose from. I eat mostly fruit in the morning and munch on veggies during the day. However, the problem is at dinner. My husband is French and must have a full on dinner with all the trimmings and of course wine. Usually we eat quite late and I know that is not helping me either. Anyways he is on board with helping me loose the weight and has promised to help me prepare leaner suppers. Bon appetite!
